Our Team

  • River Dowdy, MS, LPC, NCC

Founder | Trauma Therapist | Expressive Arts Practitioner

River is a licensed professional counselor specializing in complex trauma and dissociation. Her work is rooted in creative and expressive arts therapy, guided by the embodied, improvisational method of Developmental Transformations (DvT). River creates spaces where clients can safely unfold—where dissociation is not pathologized, but honored, integrated, and gently supported through movement, metaphor, and connection.

“The arts let us say the things words alone cannot carry.”

  • Jeremy Szuba, MS, PLPC, CRADC Supervisor

Neurodivergence Specialist | Harm Reductionist | Trauma Therapist

Jeremy is a provisionally licensed professional counselor and certified reciprocal alcohol and drug counselor (CRADC) supervisor. He specializes in working with neurodivergent clients through a harm reduction, trauma-informed, and attachment-based lens. Jeremy brings clarity, patience, and grounded warmth to even the most complex systems—and believes healing becomes possible when we stop asking clients to mask who they are.

“We heal in relationships that can hold our truth.”

  • Roxann Wombacher, MS, PLPC

“Becoming someone new doesn’t mean leaving yourself behind.”
